Scent Memories

IS A SCENT MEMORY A REAL THING?

It sure is! 

Have you ever smelt a perfume whilst walking past a stranger in the street and you instantly closed your eyes for just a few seconds and been transported back in time?  Not literally!  Maybe it reminded you of your Mothers perfume and a specific moment shared between you. 

Our sense of smell is unique and personal to each of us. It is one of the most powerful senses we have as it is instant.  There has been a scientific proven link between our memory and smell, both positive memories and negative and some we just cannot get our heads around! The one's we have absolutely no idea why we recognise them could be scent memories that are in our subconscious from earlier in life when we were babies.
